Shivjyoti grew up in Melbourne with an inner feeling that her future lay with helping others. Shivjyoti's journey to become a Swami and teaching in Melbourne began when she realised her path lay in the traditions of Yoga. After initial training in Brisbane, Australia she spent many years travelling to India, living in Ashrams, retreating to the Himalayas and being guided and trained by leading Masters.
