Why did we establish an integrated pharmacy? The Stockholm Convention stipulates that pharmacists should spend more time informing patients about health strategies and the properties of the drugs that they are dispensing. This edict is in direct accordance with our own policies and philosophy.
Phil Wade is an experienced Scientific Naturopath and Pharmacist with 39 years experience. Phil specialises in many health conditions including pain reduction, PreConception health for males and females and Chronic Fatigue. Initially specialising in dietary and topical solutions for healthy skin, children's growth health issues (including moodiness), teen’s health (including bone health and healthy skin as well as extremes in moods) and male health, his interest reached out into the above mentioned areas due to simple results. His protocols are well advanced as he employs the then TGA-approved Precision™ frequency specific deep tissue therapy, and Bio Impedence VLA testing. Other screening tests we employ include heavy metal testing, Urinary Indicans (to test for "Leaky Gut") and Hemaview™ live blood techniques for allergy indicators (including food allergy), oxidative stress, nutritional imbalances and liver health. We have developed many of these later protocols by regular attendance at Continuing Professional Education conferences and seminars.
At the Lane Cove Wellness Centre, we have developed our unique approach over 32 years. In that time Phil’s methods have changed greatly in response to the needs of his clients. As your naturopath, Phil was originally trained as a pharmacist and so specialises in combining herbal, homoeopathic, natural and nutritional medicine with modern, allopathic medicine.
Phil has developed a state-of-the-art laboratory in 2009 to convert the pharmacy into a Compounding Chemist. This activity complements both the world of modern medicine with that of traditional or complementary medicine.
