This is a relaxed, unpretentious place where cats aren't cooped up as they are in inner city places (due to lack of space). Here they can watch the goings on of their immediate neighbours, and stare across the lawn to see what's happening day or night from their plastic chair! Or snooze /eat/wee in total privacy. They are well looked after, and the only place my cat comes home from totally relaxed - even after a car ride!!! Thanks Ruth and carers, you are wonderful !
Sleepy Haven Cattery is a family owned and run boarding cattery which has been in operation since 1990.
It is situated in "The Hills" district north west of Sydney and set on 8 acres of scenic bushland.
Sleepy Haven is run by Ruth and Gary Lynch, who have 3 cats of their own:
HARRY: the sook! / big attention seeker - grey Birman
DUCHESS: the baby - Tortoiseshell
OBI: the caretaker - he lives in the cattery and ‘chats’ to all the boarders!
