Built In Wardrobes
Clever, custom designed and made storage will change the way your home functions. We have built in wardrobes across Sydney and hear the same words echoed from every client, “We need more storage”. .
.
Built-in wardrobes provide an ideal clothes storage solution within a bedroom that is easy to access and conserves space. Hinged or sliding doors are used to conceal a range of shelves, hanging spaces, drawers and baskets that are custom made to an individual’s needs. .
Sliding door wardrobes
Sliding doors are typically presented as a practical solution for built-in wardrobes that are installed into rooms with limited space. As sliding doors move side to side, rather than outward, there is a considerable reduction in the space required to provide a clear pathway around the open doors in comparison to hinged doors. While this is indeed true, it perhaps understates the range of benefits that sliding doors can offer. .
.
Sliding doors can present a modern aesthetic with wide panels that can be produced in a variety of styles, materials and finishes. Sliding doors are mounted using hardware attached to both the top and bottom edges of the panel; in contrast to hinged doors which have their hinges attached along one edge. The practical implication is that where hinged doors should be limited to approximately 60cm in width due to weight and leverage considerations, there are far less restrictions with sliding doors. This is particularly beneficial when mirror is used as the front material, as one large panel is usually preferred to a number of smaller panels. .

Walk In Wardrobes.
Walk-in wardrobes provide a luxurious clothes storage solution for those fortunate enough to have the available space. Walk-in wardrobes are most commonly arranged along a pair of opposing walls or as an L-shape configuration, but they can also be designed to cover all of the walls within a room. The design possibilities for a walk-in wardrobe are largely governed by the room dimensions and position of architectural features. This is in comparison to a built-in robe which has limits on the number, size, and position of the internal storage sections imposed by the doors. It is important to ensure that there is an adequate walkway between the elements. In addition to our own systems. .
