Straight Felling When we fall a tree directly at its base this is known as straight felling, is when we make a notch into the trunk at 60-70 degrees and the bottom section at the opposing angles to the first where we decide to guide the tree fall.

Our professionals climb the tree (or use of our lift) to remove branches piece by piece and then cut the trunk down in 1 to 2 metre long sections.
These sections are then lowered down with ropes or we would have them dropped.
Stump removal We have top quality equipment to complete any size of stump removal. We remove the stump to about 30cms below the ground level in your garden or property and we can then fill in the hole with compost, topsoil or even some woodchips if you wish for them (or other), then plant grass seed into the topsoil so that it grows into and looks a part of the garden again. Log sawing We are also able to cut your tree down into logs for firewood if you wish. This is usually to about 30 cm pieces – or as specified.
We can also take all the waste material including brash and timber away with us if you do not want to keep it, though many people prefer to keep the logs and wood chips.
