Bought a pair of MEE audio headphones from Noisy Motel online, used them for just under a month before they stopped working properly. Supposedly had a 1 year warranty. Contacted company and before I’d even sent them in was told it’s likely that it’s user mishandling and not covered by warranty: "In our experience, and we’ve been in this industry for more than 10 years, this type of damage is caused by the way the way they’ve been handled." It's worth noting the earphones were purchased in November by my partner as a gift for my birthday in December. I was away for Christmas and New Year and used them for the first time on the 5th Jan, however the owner had the audacity to call me a liar and say I had been using them for "close to 3 months", how rude! Based on other negative reviews of this company and the interactions I've had with the owner, who basically wants to shift the blame onto myself it’s clearly not worth the time or money to chase a return with them over a $39 pair of MEE audio headphones. (was told I would also be charged return postage to make a warranty claim, I asked how much this would be and was not given an answer). If it is indeed user mishandling I would be very cautious of buying anything from this company as the products they sell must be poorly made and cheaply constructed considering I did not do anything other than plug them into an mp3 player at the gym. I have now looked up this product on Amazon and there are over 1200 negative reviews, the majority of them talking about the exact same issue I had, some of which had the headphones failing to work properly within the first few days. I firmly believe this company knowingly sells a sub-standard product and will try and shift any warranty responsibility when they fail. I replaced them with a pair of ‘JBL run’ headphones for $29 from Target which also fit over the ear and sound so much better than the MEE audio ones sold by this company. Do yourself a favour and avoid this company or
