Cairns Property Collective was established in 2023 by Ben Lee Long, a fifth generation Cairns local and highly qualified Property Manager and licenced Real Estate Agent. Whilst operating a successful property management company for the past 10 years, Ben identified a need for more a personal and proactive management experience. He decided to launch his own agency and Cairns Property Collective was born! He is excited to offer his clients a fresh and proactive approach to property management and sales.

???? Ben commenced his career in 2003 with a local agency in the popular suburb of Edge Hill. An opportunity for a promotion arised, which led him to Brisbane where he worked as a Property Manager and Conciliator with the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA). This experience provided him with a broad insight into all facets of the property management industry and enabled him to develop a diverse set of skills.

???? To further advance his property knowledge, Ben studied to become a qualified Body Corporate Manager, which provided him with a unique edge in his field. Property is multi layered and it is rare that one person has such a diverse and complete knowledge of each. Ben’s approach is personalised rather than mass produced and it is for this reason that he boasts a 100% retention rate.

As Principal and Director of Cairns Property Collective, Ben's qualifications and experience equip him with the skills to provide advice across all areas of property, from accounting to compliance. He is a true professional and is results driven with a need for perfection. His cheeky sense of humour and friendly disposition allows him to get the job done efficiently, without conflict. This is one of the many reasons he is so popular with his landlord clients and tenants.

???? He sits on the Property Management Chapter Committee with the Real Estate Institute Queensland (REIQ), which is a collective of 7 of QLD’s most senior and experienced Property Managers. The chapter provides recommendations to the Board, and most recently as a group prepared the best practice guidelines for all Property Managers in Queensland.
