Being in front of the camera can be really daunting. I totally understand. I am super awkward too! Connecting with your photographer and really feeling like you can trust them is really important. If you are uncomfortable or frustrated it is going to show in the photos.
I love getting to know my clients before they book - either in person, on the phone, Facetime or via Skype. If I am not the person for you, you'll know straight away. If I am, then your decision is easy! The engagement shoot is another opportunity for our relationship to develop, and so when the pressure is on on your wedding day we will be all over it. You will feel like a million bucks in front of the camera because you're comfortable and look incredible in your wedding getup, and I know exactly how to make you look hot dang amazing!
Each wedding has its own rhythm. I'll be there when you need me and will photograph candidly when you don't. I'll definitely give you some direction on what to do, but when you to sink into the moment and just be you, that's when the magic happens.
