The success of my residential Shou Sugi Ban project is a direct result of Andrews carpentry expertise and passion for high standard. From early conceptual discussions, and throughout the entire project, Andrew was engaging, and communication was exceptional. Despite the charred timber being a messy product to work with, the site was always left safe and tidy at days end and was spotless at handover. I’m equally stoked to have stumbled across Kamiru Designs and with the premium result achieved by using a local craftsperson. Thanks a million Andrew!
We had several old pieces of outdoor jarrah furniture from the 70s and before - very old and weather beaten (but beautiful) timber. Andrew took these and sanded back the timber to its original stunning red-pink glow and refashioned the beams into a stunning long table with two benches. Couldn't be happier. Fantastic to work with: responsive to emails, creative with ideas, well-priced, no delays. A top furniture maker. Definitely my first choice next time. Thank you Andrew.
