James Tayler graduated from QUT in 1976 with Bachelor of Technology - Civil. As a senior engineer, James has operated as a geotechnical, structural, and civil engineer on the Gold Coast for over 35 years. As a chartered civil engineer with Engineers Australia with an RPEQ, James was audited in 2019, by Engineers Australia, and received a 'high level of compliance' rating. Within his required minimum of 150 hours of continued professional development, James has trained in QUDM Stormwater Management and Erosion Control. He has worked on a wide variety of government, residential, and industrial projects and has pioneered the use of Surface Wave Seismic in the Australian domestic and commercial market. Using his over 35 years of engineering experience to inform his expertise in cutting edge technology, James speaks at conferences both locally and internationally to lead the industry standard in seismic subsurface imaging. James values consistency and is committed to maintaining a high standard of work across all services to ensure quality results that comply with all current council regulations.
