Glenorie Pre-School is a wonderful place for children to have fun and to learn. We are a Community Based Pre-School, with a very homely atmosphere. Our staff are qualified, caring, experienced, and permanent, allowing for warm relationships to be built between children and staff.
We have a holistic approach to School Readiness and this flows through into all of our activities, challenging children through their existing skills and interests.
We cater for 27 children aged between three and six years old, from 7.30am to 6pm, five days a week. We are open 50 weeks a year, closing only for public holidays and the Christmas period.
Being Community Based, we are operated by an executive committee of parents. Glenorie Pre-School is a non-profit organization, which relies on government subsidies and fees for running costs. We are a “Registered Carer” with the Family Assistance Office and are licensed by the Department of Education and Community Services.
