Located at Warnervale Airport on the NSW Central Coast, Central Coast Aero Club is one of Australia’s most established aviation organisations, providing professional flight training, scenic flights, aircraft hire and aviation community activities. With a history spanning more than 50 years, the club operates as a CASA-approved flight training organisation while maintaining its strong not-for-profit aero club heritage.
The club offers pilot training pathways from Trial Instructional Flights and Recreational Pilot Licences (RPL) through to Private Pilot Licences (PPL) and Commercial Pilot Licences (CPL). Based at Warnervale Airport between Sydney and Newcastle, students benefit from a less congested training environment, allowing more time in the air and practical flight experience.
In addition to flight training, Central Coast Aero Club offers scenic flights showcasing the Central Coast, Sydney Harbour, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley. The club is recognised for its experienced instructors, strong safety culture and active aviation community, and was awarded CASA's Aero Club of the Year in 2022.
