Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention (EIBI) based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis is currently the most effective treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In these sessions we have lots of fun teaching your child how to play, communicate and respond to others around them. These sessions consist of a Registered Behaviour Technician coming out to your house for 2-3 hours at a time, intensively implementing the program set by your overseeing Program Supervisor for at least 20 hours per week.
We use a lot of natural environment training and sessions and are jam-packed full of silliness and laughter! Parents must attend clinics once a fortnight, and someone must be home during therapy sessions. We encourage parents to be a part of every therapy session so that new skills learned can be generalised. We review EIBI progress with formal assessments every 6 months.
