About Auscon Metals & Machinery
Auscon was founded by father and son teams Alwin, Paul, Mark and Michael Williams in 1978 as Kelmscott Recycling Plant. Today, Mark and Paul still head up Auscon. Originally dealing in scrap metal and cars from the company’s automotive recycling arm, Auscon has also moved into waste removal, large-scale demolition and reclamation.

The scrap, waste and recycling business is a continuously changing environment, where collection methods and the challenges of urbanisation create new demands for collecting and transporting waste and recyclables. We employ the latest tools and tech to get the job done. Auscon’s fleet includes cranes from 8 to 40 tonnes, boom lifts and cherry pickers, front-end loaders and excavators fitted with hydraulic shears and grapples.
