Andrew Long + Associates has been providing heritage consulting services in Melbourne, including Cultural Heritage Management Planning, Cultural Heritage Assessment, Historical Heritage Management and Major Project Planning since 1996. They serve clients in Australia and Papua New Guinea as well as the United Kingdom.
Cultural Heritage Management Plans (CHMP)
A CHMP is a report that outlines the management processes for Aboriginal cultural heritage affected by a development project in compliance with the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006. The CHMP is approved by the appropriate statutory authority, often an Aboriginal organisation known as a Registered Aboriginal Party, or RAP. Andrew Long + Associates has submitted over 220 approved CHMPs on behalf of our clients for a range of development projects.
Cultural Heritage Assessments (CHA)
A CHA can be prepared by us as part of due diligence for your development project, or as expert evidence to local government or other authority. Often, a CHA can be used to demonstrate that a CHMP is not necessary, saving time and cost to your project.
Historical Heritage Management
Our heritage consultants possess the multi-disciplinary expertise required to investigate and manage the regulatory compliance of your urban redevelopment project, such as permits and/or consent processes.
