I have just had Ray attend my residence to check my washine machine. He advised me that I had a faulty cold water valve which required replacing. I am only on a Pension and told him that but even though his website DOES state Service calls are from $40 he still charged me $75. He then advised me the total amount would be $187, I told him I only had $150 which he then asked me if I have a Credit Card. When I said I didn't, he was not a happy man at all. This website does say Pensioner discounts plus Service calls from $40 so what is his problem? He then only gave me a 2 month warranty which he wrote on my Receipt & when I told him that I would call The Dept of Fair Trading to see where I stood he then said that I had to tell them it was because I didn't pay the full amount. Then as he was walking out of my front door he said 'that's why I don't come to these areas' 'look at where you live?'. Such a lovely way to start a day. What an @#$/^&*( of a man. Thank you A1 Home Appliances you really know how to look after a customer. NOT!! Dept of Fair Trading, ASIC, Facebook & all social media here we go. Good luck Ray your Company will need it.
